Being a bus driver is an important service profession. It is a role that supports society by transporting school students and citizens to school, work, friends, outdoor activities and job interviews. Your mission is to create a safe, secure and smooth travel experience every day in Åre Valley for both ski tourists and permanent residents.

Working as a bus driver in Åre (year-round or seasonal) is a unique assignment! Here, half the team consists of seasonal staff and half work year-round. The surroundings are stunningly beautiful, and the weather conditions are at times very challenging. It is not a luxury to work as a bus driver in Åre, but a unique experience you will remember, and that makes many return year after year.

You get the opportunity to live and work in a place you love, with great opportunities for good community with colleagues, where several also live in one of our accommodations in Duved.

During the winter season, we are an important part of Skistar's offering to its customers. Among other things, you will drive the ski buses in Åre. Connect Bus works on behalf of Länstrafiken in Jämtland and is also responsible for scheduled services in Åre Municipality.

We offer simple seasonal accommodation in Duved for seasonal employees, but also initially simple accommodation for those who want to start living and working in Duved or Järpen but want to be able to search for their own accommodation in peace once on site. We have depots in Duved, Järpen and Hallen.

You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

You have a driving licence with D – Entitlement

You have a Driver CPC for bus

You have a digital tachograph card
