Do you want to cook good, homemade food for a small group of children and at the same time be part of the preschool's everyday life?

At Tummelisa, you get both responsibility for the kitchen and the opportunity to take part in the activities together with the children.

About the position

We are looking for a cook who can start after the summer. You are responsible for planning, shopping, and cooking all meals during the day. You work independently in the kitchen but have colleagues nearby.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out purchases based on budget

• Follow routines for self-monitoring and food hygiene

• Cook and serve all meals of the day

• Keep the kitchen clean and tidy

• Set the table and clean up after meals (wipe tables, sweep floors, etc.)

We are looking for someone who

• Has kitchen experience (preschool experience is a plus)

• Enjoys cooking from scratch and thinking sustainably

• Contributes to a good work environment and has a warm approach

You are also part of the activities:

- You participate in the pedagogical annual cycle, for example by creating dishes linked to different themes.

- You are together with guardians in the children's group a few hours a week when the staff have planning time.

Tummelisa is a parent cooperative in Odenslund with about 18 children, high staff-to-child ratio, and a warm, homely environment. Here all food is cooked from scratch with a focus on nutritious and varied diet.

We work closely with both children and parents to create a preschool with the children's best interests in focus.
