About Säve Plantskola

Säve Plantskola is a third-generation nursery.

In 1976, Märta and Hugo's daughter Madeleine and her husband Rolf took over the nursery. Five years later, Madeleine and Rolf decided to focus entirely on the production and wholesale sales of perennials.

In 2011, the siblings Marie and Rickard took over the nursery and have since worked together to develop and drive the nursery forward.

Today, Säve Plantskola produces approximately 1.8 million perennials per year and has about 1,500 different varieties in its range.

Our customers range from garden centres, landscaping companies and housing companies to municipalities and cemetery administrations.

Säve Plantskola is a perennial grower in constant development that offers a broad range of high quality.

Qualifications

We are looking for employees for our production line with perennial production.

Since spring is our most intensive period, we would like you to have good physical fitness and be stress-resistant. It is also important that you are meticulous and skilled with your fingers, as small plant plugs are to be handled at a high pace.

Work duties

At the production line, there will be 1–2 people, ensuring that the machine is filled with pots and trays. You will also stand by the belt and continuously plant plant plugs in pots.

Alternately, you will drive full container carts to the assigned plant location, where you unload the plants by hand and scan in the placement with a handheld computer; this is done alone or in pairs.

In addition to these duties, other work tasks may also occur.

Other: The nursery is located in the countryside and it is 2 km to the nearest bus stop. Access to a car is an advantage as bus services run less frequently during the morning hours.

We are a smoke-free workplace.

Working hours: 6:30–15:00. 30-minute lunch break.

Duration: Permanent employment (incl. possible probationary employment)

Salary: SEK 137.4/hour
