Dog handler responsible for onboarding

Do you want to become part of our wonderful team? We are currently looking for a trained dog handler with onboarding responsibilities for one of our dog daycares in Gothenburg. The position starts at the end of October and is a part-time position with possible opportunity for increased working hours over time for the right person.

We are only looking for you who have education in the field and have completed a dog daycare training or are a dog instructor, dog behavior assessor, or similar. You also have work experience from working at a dog daycare and are used to onboarding daycare dogs and creating packs where the dogs thrive together. Working hours vary; our opening hours are 05:30-19:00 every weekday.

You who are applying for the position genuinely like dogs, train reward-based, and enjoy being outdoors in all weather. Since the work is partly physical with many walks per day, you are not afraid of physical work and can walk dogs in larger groups. You pitch in where needed, take your own initiative, and support your colleagues. Together you are a team that makes the dogs thrive at the daycare. You want to be part of all parts of the company and follow the routines, guidelines, and visions that exist. The position also includes responsibility for the daycare's onboarding of new dogs and ensuring functioning packs are created. Since customer contact and handover of information to customers are included, you are also good at receiving customers and conversing with people. Problem-solving, thinking outside the box, and coming up with your own suggestions and ideas for solutions are also an important part of the work.

Examples of tasks:

• Walk dogs in groups, large and small
• Activate/train dogs
• Wash, clean - it is important that the daycare is kept clean, which is why there is a lot of cleaning.
• Clip claws, bathe and groom, etc.
• Open or close the daycare. We open at 05:30 and close at 19:00.
• Plan and carry out onboarding of new dogs, ongoing evaluation of dog groups, and ensure that the dogs thrive at the daycare.
