Operations Manager for Home Care

About the role

As operations manager, you are responsible for the daily operations of the business. You ensure that work is carried out with high quality, good ethics, and in accordance with current legislation and the municipality's requirements.

You lead and develop the operations in:

• personnel
• quality
• work environment
• routines and working methods

You are a confident leader who motivates employees and creates good conditions for high-quality care.

The position requires that you are approved by the municipality according to current contractual requirements.

Main duties

• Responsibility for daily operational activities
• Ensure that the operations comply with laws, regulations, and guidelines
• Personnel responsibility incl. work supervision and competence development
• Quality work and follow-up
• Contact with the municipality and other partners
• Develop and improve routines and working methods

Qualifications (requirements)

The operations manager must meet one of the following:

• Completed university education in social work, for example social worker, behavioral scientist or similar, plus at least 12 months of operational managerial experience in home care (with responsibility for personnel, finances, and operations)

or

• At least 24 months of operational managerial experience in home care with responsibility for daily work

In addition, the following is required:

• Good knowledge of applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations in health and social care
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good administrative skills and computer literacy
