We are looking for a driven Chef de Cuisine for Hotel Skansen!

Hotel Skansen on Öland is now looking for a committed and experienced chef de cuisine who wants to help develop our gastronomy.

About Hotel Skansen

Hotel Skansen is a hotel, spa, conference, and restaurant facility with 78 hotel rooms and several conference rooms, the largest accommodating approximately 250 guests. We have a spa department with six treatment rooms and a relaxation area, as well as several dining rooms of various sizes. We are in an exciting development phase! Our vision includes building a new hotel wing with a brand-new rooftop restaurant and becoming Öland's best employer.

Your role as Chef de Cuisine

We are looking for a chef de cuisine who not only has a passion for food, but also for finance and leadership. We believe you are a person who wants to be involved in daily operations, take on a key role in our team, and at the same time have oversight of kitchen finances.

Your main duties:

• Lead and inspire the kitchen team in daily work.
• Responsible for menu planning.
• Work actively in operations – we believe in present leadership!
• Responsible for kitchen finances, purchasing, and costing.
• Responsible for self-monitoring.
• Staff responsibility, recruitment, and scheduling.
• Contribute to the hotel's strategic development.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in a similar role.
• Has good knowledge of kitchen finances and an understanding of profitability in restaurant operations.
• Is a clear and inspiring leader who can develop and elevate their team.
• Has a positive attitude and thrives in a dynamic work environment.
