Experienced chef
Description
Are you a passionate chef who loves a high pace, good atmosphere and working in a beautiful environment? Do you want to put your mark on the food at Bosjökloster?
With us, you work close to the business, the guests and your colleagues. You are responsible for planning, menus, purchasing and the daily operation of the kitchen together with a small team that you also help develop.
About the business
The food is an important part of the overall experience at Bosjökloster. The garden café is open during Easter week, daily in September, and during the Christmas market, with well-prepared food and good pastries.
In addition to the café operations, we arrange weddings, conferences, private parties, traditional goose dinners, Christmas buffets and our large Midsummer buffet, which attracts several hundred guests.
We work in a historic environment with high ambitions. For us, the quality of the ingredients is important, as is the craftsmanship behind the food. The ambition is for the food experience to be at the same level as the castle area in general.
About the role
We are looking for someone who:
- is a trained chef or has equivalent experience
- is passionate about cooking and baking with fine ingredients
- has good ability to plan and organize
- understands the importance of economy, sustainability and reduced food waste
- enjoys working both practically and with planning
- likes to collaborate and contribute to a positive work environment
- is happy to share your knowledge and help others develop
With us, you have great scope to influence menus, working methods and the continued development of the business.
Working hours can be adapted to full-time or part-time.
About Bosjökloster
Bosjökloster is open for visits with a park, gardens, exhibitions, shop, café and event operations. We who run the business have lived on site for several generations.
We are a small and committed team that works closely together to create culinary, cultural and nature experiences for our visitors. Willingness to cooperate, curiosity, commitment, responsibility and good camaraderie are values we hold high.
Good to know
Bosjökloster is a seasonal business. During the summer months, the pace is high and there are more working days. The winter season is calmer and is used for, among other things, planning, menu development, tasting dinners for wedding couples and preparations for the coming season.
This means that the main vacation is mainly during the winter season and that working hours vary throughout the year.
For the right person, this is an advantage. For others, it suits less well. We therefore want to be clear about the conditions from the start.
Information
Bosjökloster is located about 7 km south of Höör. A driver's license and access to a car, moped or other working transport solution is necessary because working hours cannot be adapted to public transport.
We have a collective agreement and apply individual salary setting.
Interviews are held continuously.
We look forward to your application!
