CE Driver, night, 4 days a week, permanent, based out of Lunda/Spånga

Now we are looking for one or two drivers with a CE licence, forklift licence, Driver CPC and preferably ADR, otherwise at least ADR 1.3, for a permanent assignment with one of our most important and best customers, who drives for DSV and operates out of Lunda in Spånga.

Now we are looking for one or two drivers with a CE licence, forklift licence and preferably ADR for a permanent assignment.

We are looking for a couple of drivers with a CE licence for a full-time night position, 4 nights a week. Working hours are approximately 17:30–04:15. The driving starts from the DSV terminal in Lunda, where you also finish your shift. You will handle some loading and unloading yourself, so experience of forklift driving with a low-lift pallet truck, as well as an understanding of how to double-stack and stow pallets/cartons/roll containers in a good way so that everything fits but still arrives undamaged, is important. The job is not particularly physically demanding, but is more of the usual character for terminal loading and unloading.

We absolutely welcome people aged 50 and 60+, as we think this is a job that suits reliable gentlemen and ladies with life experience excellently.

The job is independent; you basically have no manager breathing down your neck, so it is important that we feel we can trust that you are a responsible person who can actually keep times and be present when you should, even if no one is supervising you.

You do not need to be an expert at reversing with a truck and trailer, because there are only a couple of reversals per shift, in the same gates and in the same places, BUT you must have sufficiently good judgement and experience to avoid damage to vehicles and goods. THIS IS IMPORTANT! You always automatically think: I would rather get out of the truck and take an extra look instead of taking a chance when reversing.

You will get to try the job for one or a couple of shifts, partly so that we can see that you have what is required in terms of experience, partly that you have the right attitude, and partly so that you also get the opportunity to try the job in peace and quiet and in the presence of one of our skilled colleagues and feel whether the job is for you.

We also will not leave you on your own until you feel confident that you have a handle on the job. We are happy to practise reversing and ride along with you until you feel secure. ADR is basically a must, or at least 1.3.

Qualifications:

CE licence, Driver CPC, digital driver card, forklift licence, and being able to express yourself well in Swedish in speech and writing are important. We also expect you to be neat and clean, and to feel a responsibility for your vehicle, because in many respects it is precisely your vehicle.

In this case, there are good opportunities after just over a year of having done honourable and good work to move over and work directly for the customer, if that is something you want.

Access to your own car is not a requirement but is very good, as public transport is irregular during your working hours

About the job:

The job is free and varied, but requires that you can be quick with loading when needed and can work efficiently, ONCE YOU HAVE GOT INTO THE ROUTINE OF THE JOB. There are time schedules to keep, of course, as long as nothing extraordinary happens. But with that said, it is pleasant driving with quite a lot of alone time in the cab. As the setup is now, you actually have your own and the same truck, which is convenient. You keep the truck in question clean yourself, and even if it is not particularly new, it should still be taken care of. The salary is for hours worked, full-time and well paid according to agreement.
