ASSISTANT NURSE FOR HOME CARE – DEMENTIA AND MENTAL ILLNESS
We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse, have experience from home care and/or residential care for the elderly, and have a strong interest in working within one or more of the organization's focus areas.
Stockholm's Dementia and Special Team is a home care organization that works with people with dementia, mental illness, functional impairments, and substance abuse problems. The work is adapted to each client's needs, and we focus heavily on interaction, motivation, and various creative approaches to make the help work in the client's everyday life.
OUR TEAMS AND FOCUS AREAS
The organization is divided into different teams.
The Dementia Team works with people who have various dementias. Within the Dementia Team, there is also a Specialist Dementia Team, where a specific group of staff works with clients who have more advanced dementia and a greater need for adapted interaction and working methods.
The Special Team works with people who have mental illness, functional impairments, or substance abuse problems. The Special Team also includes the Housing Support Team.
Depending on your experience, knowledge, and interest, you can work within one or more of our teams and even combine work in home care and housing support.

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest and commitment to one or more of our focus areas.
You need to be able to create a sense of security, treat people professionally, and adapt your working methods to the client. The work requires that you can take your own initiative, work independently, and motivate clients to accept the help they have been granted.
