Gardener

We are now looking for someone who is interested in gardening, quick to learn, and willing to pitch in and work hard when needed.

We carry out most work in private gardens, so social skills and being responsive to instructions are a must for the customer to be satisfied.

Experience is a plus but not a requirement. We are happy to train from the ground up, provided that the person we hire finds plants fun and interesting.

A typical day includes: hedge trimming, lawn mowing, pruning trees and shrubs, laying lawns, weeding, planting, blowing, sweeping, and making things look neat. As an applicant, you have good physical fitness, have no fear of heights that would prevent you from pruning trees from a tall ladder, can work on your knees temporarily, and can manage the workday even though you sometimes need to trim hedges for a whole day.

We work year-round and prune trees and restart hedges etc. in the winter. So we are not looking to hire seasonally.
