School bus driver wanted - substitute on demand

Stockholm International Academy is seeking substitutes on demand for our school buses.

We are looking for someone who can step in as needed when our regular bus drivers are absent. The work involves driving students to and from school in a safe and secure manner.

Working hours:

• Morning approximately 06:30–08:30

• Afternoon approximately 15:00–16:30

We have two bus routes:

• Farsta – Hagsätra – Rågsved – Hägersten

• Norsborg – Fittja – Alby – Skärholmen – Bredäng – Hägersten

There is an opportunity to work only with school transport in the morning and afternoon. By agreement, working hours can also be extended with assignments at the school between drives, for example as a playground supervisor and support in the operations.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a valid category D driving licence

• Has a valid Driver CPC for passenger transport

• Is confident and safe in traffic

• Is responsible, punctual and good with children

• Can communicate in Swedish

• Is able to step in at short notice as needed

Since the work involves contact with students, you need to present a valid extract from the criminal record for work in schools before employment.

Previous experience of school transport, bus driving or work with children is an advantage.
