Experienced Gardener with Responsibility for Hedge Trimming

Hedge Maintenance Gardener Wanted

Kullerstad Trädgård & Design AB is seeking an experienced and self-motivated gardener who wants to take particular responsibility for the company’s hedge trimming. Salary and other employment conditions follow the applicable collective agreement.

The position is planned to start in spring 2027, but for the right person there is an opportunity to begin employment as early as 2026. The recruitment process may take as long as needed, as we attach great importance to finding a person who fits the role and wants to develop long-term together with the company.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will, among other things:

• Assess new hedge jobs and estimate the time required.
• Plan the work according to the season and suitable pruning times.
• Take responsibility for and participate practically in hedge trimming together with other colleagues.
• Allocate and follow up on the work on site.
• Ensure that the work is carried out safely, efficiently, and with a neat result.
• Make sure that hedge shears and other tools are serviced, sharpened, and in good condition.
• Be attentive to needs for new tools, protective equipment, and other materials.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with documented experience of hedge trimming, pruning, or similar garden work. You need to be able to determine how different types of hedges should be trimmed and when the work should be carried out.

You are responsible, meticulous, and accustomed to working both independently and together with others. Since you will represent the company at our customers’ premises, it is important that you are pleasant, reliable, and have a professional manner.

Requirements

• Experience of hedge trimming and garden work.
• Driver’s licence (B).
• Good ability to plan and estimate time requirements.
• Ability to work independently and lead the work on site.
• References from previous employers or clients.

Advantageous

• Chainsaw licence.
• Education in horticulture, pruning, or arboriculture.
• Experience of supervising work.
• Familiarity with servicing and basic maintenance of machines and tools.
