About us

Habia Teknofluor AB is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of fluoroplastic hose, high-pressure hose, and machined PTFE components. The customer base consists of large international companies such as Hitachi, Tetra Pak, Parker, and ContiTech, and most of the products are delivered outside Sweden. The business was started in 1954 and has been part of the Smiths Group since 2019 under the Flex-Tek division. In Smiths Group, over 16,000 employees work in over 50 countries. At Habia Teknofluor, approximately 60 people currently work in expansive Knivsta, which is located between Arlanda and Uppsala.

About the role

As an industrial electrician with us, you are responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our production facilities and machinery. The goal is to achieve minimal downtime and maximize production capacity through safety, quality, and service.

Your duties include, among other things:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
• Troubleshooting electrical systems and control equipment
• Repairing and maintaining machinery and production equipment
• Installing and improving electrical systems
• Participating in development and improvement work
• Ensuring that work is performed in accordance with current safety regulations

The role involves close collaboration with production and technical functions.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who puts safety first, takes responsibility for both people and processes, and has the ability to find solutions and deliver high-quality service. You have a genuine interest in technology and enjoy working independently as well as in close collaboration with colleagues. It is an advantage if you are an authorized electrical installer type A.

We see that you have:

• Completed electrical education at upper secondary school or vocational college level
• Experience as an industrial electrician or similar role in the manufacturing industry
• Experience of installation, repair, and upgrading of electrical equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and to troubleshoot and repair automated control systems
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Experience of automation and process control is an advantage.

A driving license is advantageous as public transport connections to the workplace are limited.
