Vacant position – Bus driver for our depots in Jönköping County

(Vaggeryd, Värnamo, Jönköping & Gnosjö)

Do you want to become part of our team and help drive sustainable travel in the future? We are currently looking for committed bus drivers for our depots in Vaggeryd, Värnamo, Jönköping, and Gnosjö for scheduled route traffic operated on behalf of Jönköping County Transport (JLT).

We are looking for both those who want to work full-time and those who want to work on an hourly/on-call basis.

As a bus driver, you are our public face and the most important link in the passenger's experience. Your main task is to drive the bus in a safe, smooth, and environmentally friendly manner, always with a focus on safety and excellent customer service.

About you

We are looking for someone who enjoys being behind the wheel and meeting people every day. You have good driving skills, feel secure in handling large vehicles in varying traffic environments, and have a strong focus on traffic safety and comfort.

Qualifications and requirements

• Valid driving licence (category D).
• Valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) for bus.
• Digital driver card (tachograph card).
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing (for safe communication with passengers and traffic control).

Employment conditions

Employment type: Permanent employment (probationary period applies) or hourly/on-call employment.

Working hours: Full-time or hourly.

Location: Vaggeryd, Värnamo, Jönköping, or Gnosjö (please indicate in your application which depot you are most interested in).
