Together we make a difference for our residents and their loved ones – every day. Here we can offer you, as a nursing assistant, a workplace where community, respectful treatment, and structure are things we value.

About the Vallgossen nursing home

Vallgossen, centrally located on Kungsholmen with a focus on dementia and somatic care, is Stockholms Sjukhem's first and oldest nursing home. The residence consists of 102 apartments with nice, modern premises, as well as a large park and winter garden that allow outdoor stays all year round. A major advantage of Vallgossen is its proximity to the hospital and its facilities. Vallgossen also has a unit for people under 65 with dementia or brain injury.

Within elderly care, we have a unique organization for health and medical care interventions. The physician responsible for medical interventions at the foundation's nursing homes is employed by us. This strengthens continuity and collaboration within the professional teams.
