In 2020, Axelssons Turisttrafik and Ellénius Buss merged into a joint company with the aim of creating a stronger and more competitive player in the market for bus and transport services. The pace of expansion is high and we continue to grow. As a group, we have a fleet of approximately 190 modern vehicles and just over 400 employees, where together we offer charter and school transport in large parts of Sweden. We have, among other things, the honorable assignment of handling the primary school's school transport in Osby municipality.

Axelssons Turisttrafik AB is now looking for a committed, confident and service-oriented bus driver for our operations in Osby. The position starts as an hourly employment as needed, with very good chances of soon increasing to a permanent position at 70%.

This role suits you who wants a flexible job with great responsibility, where you drive modern vehicles and become an important part of the children's school day.

About the position

Driving a school bus involves a very great responsibility and a great trust that parents, schools and children give us. As a bus driver, you have a key role in our organization. You ensure that our passengers feel safe, welcome and have a safe and pleasant journey.

You will, among other things:

• Drive modern and safe vehicles in Osby and its surroundings.
• Be responsible for safety around school transport and local transport assignments.
• Work together with committed and knowledgeable colleagues.
• Be the public face of Axelssons Turisttrafik.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a D driver's license and a valid YKB, which is a requirement.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in the bus industry.
• Is confident, stable and safe behind the wheel.
• Is distinctly service-oriented and enjoys meeting people of different ages.
• Has good cooperation skills and is punctual and meticulous.
• Has command of spoken Swedish to be able to communicate with passengers, school and traffic management.
• Is flexible and has the opportunity to work on an as-needed basis initially.

It is a merit if you have previous experience of school transport, scheduled traffic or charter traffic.
