Industrial electrician for our maintenance department

We are now looking for an industrial electrician for the maintenance department at Rikstvätt in Bengtsfors. We are looking for someone with experience in electrical work in industry and who can work independently with troubleshooting, service, and repairs.

Our facility includes, among other things, washing tunnels, industrial washing machines, ironers, folding machines, drying equipment, steam boilers, and systems for water treatment and water recycling.

In this role, you will work with preventive and corrective maintenance of our machines, electrical installations, and other production equipment. The tasks include, among other things, troubleshooting, service, and repairs, as well as installation and commissioning of new equipment. You will also work with programming and troubleshooting of PLC systems, document completed work in the maintenance system MaintMaster, and participate in improvement and automation projects.

The role is broad and suits you who are an all-round industrial electrician and enjoy varied tasks within electricity, automation, and general maintenance. Through your work, you contribute to ensuring safe and efficient production.

The work is varied and involves close collaboration with production and other functions within the company. We are looking for someone who is practically minded, innovative, self-driven, and solution-oriented.

The role requires you to work carefully and quality-conscious, with a clear safety mindset. As a person, you are flexible and stress-resistant, with good collaboration and communication skills. Through your work, you contribute to preventing downtime and ensuring that our facility maintains a high level of safety and quality.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a high school education in the Electrical and Energy program or equivalent competence acquired through work experience.
• Has experience working with motor controls and variable frequency drives.
• Has experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical installations.
• Has education or experience in automation, PLC, or other industrial control systems.
• Can read and interpret electrical and circuit diagrams.
• Has knowledge of electrical safety and relevant rules and standards.
• Has a driver's license (B).
• Masters Swedish in speech and writing.
• Has sufficient knowledge of English to understand technical documentation.
• Has the ability to work shifts and be on call as needed.

Meritorious if you have

• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Experience in programming and troubleshooting PLC systems.
• Experience driving forklifts and lifts, preferably with valid training certificates.
• Certificate for Hot Work.
• Good computer skills.
• Experience with maintenance systems, preferably MaintMaster.
