Forklift driver/nursery worker for fruit orchard

Do you want to work close to nature and be an important part of the harvest work? We are now looking for a forklift driver for our fruit orchard! Ramlösa Plantskola in Helsingborg grows apples and pears on approximately 40 hectares, and we also have our forest nurseries in Restad and Saxtorp.

About the position

As a forklift driver with us, you will be responsible for transporting fruit crates and forest plants, loading and unloading, as well as internal logistics on the farm. The work is carried out in close collaboration with our employees to ensure a smooth flow during the harvest and storage season.

Duties

• Drive forklift for transporting fruit, forest plants, pallets, and materials.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Manage warehouse and maintain order in the farmyard.
• Basic maintenance and supervision of forklift and equipment.
• Assist with other tasks as needed.
• Some administrative work.
• Stocktaking
• Cold storage management

We are looking for someone who

• Has a valid forklift license.
• Has experience driving forklifts.
• Is responsible, careful, and safety-conscious.
• Enjoys working both independently and in a team.
• Is in good physical condition and enjoys working outdoors.
• Works actively with safety and the work environment.

You are a person who takes initiative and can structure your workday, and you have no problem helping out where needed. The position may also involve fruit picking, grounds maintenance, and upkeep; at Ramlösa Plantskola we are a good team that helps each other.

Administrative experience and an interest in developing and improving the role are meritorious.

If you have experience driving garden machinery, that is a big plus.
