Deputy Service Manager

Comex Electronics AB is an established and well-known provider of IT security for the Swedish Armed Forces as well as authorities and government agencies with high demands on information security.

Job Duties:

In this role, you will support the Service Manager and lead a small service team, working in premises separated from the rest of the business. You will perform troubleshooting and repairs on Comex's own developed hardware products, including computers, printers, copiers, telephones, etc. You will work both independently and in groups, as well as with other departments, such as development and production. The role also includes planning and reporting of service work, as well as documenting performed troubleshooting and tests in the issue management system. The position also involves customer contact and support, for example via phone and email.

The role is very varied, and tasks often shift from one week to the next. This requires that you are organized, structured, and stress-tolerant.

Most of the work will be carried out at Comex's premises in Arninge, north of Stockholm, but customer visits may also occur - mainly in the Stockholm area, but also in the rest of Sweden.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a technical interest and good problem-solving skills
• is structured, service-oriented, and responsible
• has good knowledge of Swedish and English
• enjoys both customer contact and practical work
• has good knowledge of Windows operating systems and programs, as well as basic knowledge of Linux.

Meritorious:

• Soft soldering certification (FSD5115).
• Experience in electronics, IT, or technical support
• Understanding of programming and program architecture.
