Biogas and Workshop Technician

Vallens Gård is located just outside Ljusdal in the scenic region of Hälsingland. Currently, the farm cultivates approximately 1700 hectares of arable land for the production of forage, feed grain, and whole-crop silage for the farm's dairy herd. The herd currently consists of about 1250 milking cows, plus dry cows and replacement animals. In addition to milk and feed production, the farm manages forestland.

Vallens Gård has been in an expansion phase for many years, and in 2025, a biogas plant and a new barn with over 400 stalls were put into operation. Construction is now underway for a facility to upgrade biogas into vehicle fuel.

We are looking for someone who will be responsible for the operation of our plant that produces biogas from the farm's manure, and subsequently upgrades the biogas into vehicle fuel. You will be responsible for daily operations, as well as ensuring that service and maintenance are carried out. You need to be proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as our technology suppliers are located in other countries. In addition to working with biogas and vehicle gas, you will also repair and maintain our vehicles and machinery. The farm has a well-equipped workshop with an associated wash hall.
