Livestock handler cows/calves

Right now, Hörröds Gård is in an exciting expansion phase with the construction of a new barn for milk production featuring five Lely A5 robots, which will be operational in summer 2026. The farm employs about 10 staff working in milk production, beef cows, and crop farming.

We are now looking for a livestock handler for our milk production, preferably with previous experience in dairy farming. You will work in the cowshed and calf barn. Duties include all common tasks in animal care. Basic administration is also part of the job.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team but can also work independently. The work is practical and physically demanding, requiring accuracy and a sense for animal welfare.

We are looking for someone with good animal observation skills, who is responsible, meticulous, reliable, and has an interest in agriculture and milk production.

A driver's license is required, as well as proficiency in spoken and written Swedish.

Desirable education is a natural resource high school program.

The position is during daytime hours and every third weekend. Full-time or by agreement. Permanent employment with a three-month probationary period.
