Gotland is a fantastically beautiful island that does good for the whole person. The pastorate is located on the western part of the island. Here you will find everything you might need to live a good life. The Klinte pastorate has nine parishes and the central town is Klintehamn, nine medieval churches and cemeteries, a centrally located chapel, and about 2,600 church members.

The Klinte pastorate seeks a parish priest with breadth, curiosity, and commitment. We are looking for someone who is called to all parts of parish life, not least the diaconal. In addition to traditional tasks such as worship, baptism, wedding, funeral, and confirmation, we would like you to be passionate about diaconal work.

We seek a priest who can both step up into the pulpit and step down into people's lives – with sensitivity and courage.

In the Klinte pastorate, you will find a musically and culturally interested team that enjoys their work and each other. For example, we organize very popular Christmas and Easter walks for primary school students. We are in the process of starting a church center in Klintehamn with our Harbour Church and adjacent Church Villa. Children's choirs and adult choirs already practice there, and 'klucku tei' and youth recreation center are held. The future vision is a meeting place for everyone.

Working hours are scheduled for daytime as well as evenings, weekdays and weekends, as well as occasional camps. A driver's license and a car are required for the position. We assume that you share the values of the Swedish Church and of course are ordained. Applications from non-ordained persons will not be processed. Start date according to agreement.
