Team Leader & Personal Assistant

About the position:

Our client has autism, which means he needs assistance in various everyday situations where his disability causes certain limitations. You will act as his extended arms and legs and help him in situations that he could otherwise handle himself. His interests include movies, café visits, spending time with friends, and walking his dogs regardless of the weather. The tasks vary and include both high and low activities, just like in everyday life.

To enable you to develop and grow as an assistant, you will also receive regular guidance and coaching from my personal team leaders and from the psychologist with whom we work closely in our work with applied behavior analysis.

We are looking for a team leader in personal assistance!

We are seeking an engaged and structured team leader for our team in personal assistance. As a team leader, you are responsible for leading and supporting assistants in their daily work, scheduling, and ensuring good quality of assistance based on the user's needs and wishes (applies to the above client).

With the user, we work goal-oriented with applied behavior analysis (ABA). This permeates everything we do together – from everyday activities to training in communication and social interaction.

Therefore, it is crucial that you also want to work that way. Experience is not a requirement, but the interest and willingness to learn must be present.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in personal assistance or leadership
• Is confident, responsive, and responsible
• Has good communication skills/cognitive communication

Who are you?

We are looking for a caring and friendly person, just like the user himself. You should have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as communication is an important part of your collaboration. Your help with spelling when he writes his stories will be a central part of your role.

It is also important that you work in a way that strengthens the user's sense of participation. By listening to his wishes, encouraging his own initiatives, and allowing him to influence decisions in daily life, you contribute to creating a meaningful and inclusive existence.

Previous experience in care work is a plus, but personal suitability is what matters most. A driver's license is meritorious but not a requirement.

Working hours: Various shifts (day/evening/night/weekend).
