Family Therapist on an hourly basis // Gothenburg and surrounding areas
Description
Hemnovia is now seeking dedicated family therapists on an hourly basis for our outpatient services in Gothenburg and surrounding areas!
Do you want to make a meaningful contribution and create safe, positive interactions between children and their parents? Then you could be our next family therapist!
Being a family therapist
Some children lack a close relationship with their parent(s), which may mean that extra support is needed to create a safe and positive experience for the child. As a family therapist, your primary task is therefore to provide this support to the child when they are to spend time with a parent they do not live with.
The assignment also includes planning and coordination before the intended visitation with your immediate supervisor, parents, the adults the child lives with, and our clients. During the visitation, you as a family therapist are responsible for ensuring that the plan for the current visit is followed, observing, and assisting if the situation requires it. Likewise, reflective conversations before and after the visit with the parent and the child may be part of the assignment.
After the visit, you are responsible for compiling a written and oral report to your immediate supervisor and clients. You also participate in planning meetings/discussions with your immediate supervisor and clients.
To succeed in the role of family therapist, you need to be confident, flexible, attentive, and structured.
Scope
The work opportunities are regular and can occur both on weekdays and weekends. Visits and meetings take place in Gothenburg and surrounding areas in public places, in a facility, or in the home where the child lives.
The work involves flexibility and variety, where you, in dialogue with your immediate supervisor, participate in planning the hours you work.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has relevant university education, e.g., social worker, behavioral scientist, or equivalent
- Has experience in treatment work with young people and/or families
- Is confident in their professional role and used to working independently
- Has a good ability to make contact and build trust with young people
- Has knowledge of systems theory, conversation methodology, or other relevant treatment methods
- Has a valid driver's license (B category)
We offer:
- A meaningful assignment where you get to be part of making a real difference
- Close collaboration with your immediate supervisor, colleagues, and clients
- Flexible working hours by agreement
