We are currently looking for a babysitter for a family in Östermalm, Stockholm.

About us

NPF Barnvakten offers childcare for families with children with neuropsychiatric disorders.

NPF stands for neurodevelopmental disorder and the most common conditions are: ADHD, Autism, ADD, ASD, Tourette syndrome, and language disorder. Our goal is to help as many people with special needs as possible, and therefore you will need to complete an internal training in NPF before starting your first assignment. At NPF Barnvakten, you will have a developing, joyful, and incredibly rewarding part-time job.

The assignment:

Number of children and ages: 1 child, 7 years old

Days and times: 2 times per week

Desired start date: Immediately

Childcare takes place at the family's home or in a nearby park.

Location: Östermalm, Stockholm.

We are looking for someone who:

Has some form of experience with children, especially children with NPF (ADHD, Autism, ID or similar)

Has experience with low-arousal approach and clear pedagogy

Is responsible and has a genuine interest in children

Wants a developing and rewarding part-time job

Is educational, safe, and calm

A driver's license is a plus

Experience with visual support/TAKK is a plus

Picking up from preschool/school

Coming up with activities at home and outside

Providing support during outings

Preparing simple meals

Bedtime routine

Engagement, socialization, and relief for parents
