Your duties
As a primary school teacher in Leksand Municipality, you work pedagogically and socially based on the operation's goals and guidelines as well as applicable governing documents. You are responsible for the pedagogical content of the teaching and work to promote students' learning and development. You are well-versed in systematic quality work and are responsive to the demands and changes that need to be addressed within the profession.
You will work as a classroom teacher in primary school grades 1–3. The teaching responsibilities of the position are designed based on the needs of the operation, your subject qualifications, and pedagogical professional experience. Your duties include class/mentorship, collegial collaboration in various forums, communication and collaboration with guardians, as well as other schools and authorities. Together with your colleagues, you will participate in various development projects focused on teaching quality and increased goal achievement.
It may also happen that you teach at another school in the principal's area.

We are looking for you who are a licensed primary school teacher

As a person, you are flexible and accustomed to independently planning your work and also collaborating with other colleagues to create the best conditions for each student to develop and achieve the knowledge goals. You are solution-oriented and have a good ability to see situations from a holistic perspective. You are clear and confident in your pedagogical leadership and have the ability to inspire our students to new challenges. You enjoy collaborating in teams and willingly share your experiences for collegial learning that contributes to development at individual, group, and organizational levels. Together with your colleagues, you work to create a safe, structured, developing, and stimulating learning environment for our students.

About the workplace
Tällberg School is an F-6 school with an after-school center, beautifully located in Tällberg, about 1.5 km from central Leksand, with proximity to rich natural and cultural life. The school has three work teams – grades F-3 and grades 4-6, as well as the after-school center. Collaboration for pedagogical development is central, and the principal's area also includes Ullvi, Siljansnäs, and Gärde schools as collaboration partners to enable rich collegial learning. In addition, Leksand's schools continuously collaborate on various targeted competence development initiatives.
