Deltaskolan in Handen is looking for a licensed teacher in one or several of the subjects: Physics, Swedish, Sloyd, Home Economics, Physical Education, Religion, Music

You have:

• qualifications to teach in grades 7–9 (teaching license)
• a desire to develop the school of the future
• a passion for pedagogical development with students in focus

Deltaskolan is a private school in Handen (Haninge municipality), with profiles in: Football, Handball and Cheerleading.

The school strives to create the best learning environment for students and give them the best conditions to achieve the primary school's knowledge goals. With that as a foundation, Deltaskolan's goal is to become one of Sweden's best schools in terms of knowledge and order. We limit the number of students in each class to approximately 20 in order to offer the best possible learning environment.

Physical education is a profile for students who are interested in sports and active in a sports club. The student can choose between three orientations: Football, Handball and Cheerleading, or apply to the school if they have another individual sport. In addition to the regular physical education, the student can train their special sport two sessions per week.

JOB DUTIES

Teaching in grades 7–9. Mentorship included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You should enjoy working with teenagers and have the ability to inspire students.
• You are a person who comes with constructive suggestions for solutions.
• If you are or have been a sports leader/coach, that is a merit.
• You are a qualified teacher with a teaching license for grades 7-9 in the subjects.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

Duration: Probationary employment with possible permanent employment.
