Who are we,

We at Cartinavia AB run a unique business offering sightseeing tours in central Stockholm by driving our customers in golf carts designed for road traffic. We are the only company in Sweden that owns and has exclusive rights to use these golf carts, which has led to explosive growth since the market launch of our idea. Cartinavia has long been ranked high on lists of activities in Stockholm, and today we are bestsellers with several of our resellers, such as Viator, where we have been awarded the 'Badge of Excellence'.

Your responsibilities,

The work mainly involves driving the golf cart in central Stockholm on predetermined routes, telling about interesting sights, and entertaining your customers during the tour. You will receive introductory training on all sights and stories you need to tell, as well as the routes you will drive. Sometimes we also conduct special tours where you are both a guide and personal chauffeur for your customers for a full day (often occurring with cruise ship arrivals). You will then drive them between various destinations such as museums, restaurants, shops, etc., and often also attend the fun activities that customers visit during the day.

During the season, you may also be assigned more rare tasks where you are needed as a driver for events or larger private events. In the past, we have, among other things, assisted with a commercial shoot for Under Armour, transported the management of the publicly listed company John Deere in connection with a European conference, and served as an alternative to student trucks by driving students with loud music and festively decorated golf carts.

What we offer,

• Competitive hourly wage according to transport agreement guidelines for 2026 (entry wage according to collective bargaining agreement for transport)

• Commission for sightseeing tours you conduct or extend by proactively selling tickets at our staging area in Gamla Stan or during a tour.

• Commission for tours conducted by other guides but sold by you.

• Commission for transport with the golf cart on your own initiative, to and from hotels, ferries, museums, etc.

• Tips in various currencies, mainly US Dollars and Euros. All tips are kept by our employees, who are responsible for reporting the income in their tax returns. (during peak season, our guides average between 11,000 SEK - 15,000 SEK in tips)

• Staff room with coffee machine, microwave, stove, refrigerator, air fryer, and access to a changing room where belongings can be left while working.

• Flexible working hours where you can choose how many days you want to work and take time off when needed with two weeks' notice.

• Paid breaks are a daily occurrence and part of our company policy, so you always have the conditions to deliver an extraordinary experience for each customer.

No prior experience required, but it is important that you have good energy and can work with people. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to earn money based on your effort, not hours worked. Our top guides earn between 40,000 SEK and 50,000 SEK during peak season.
