We are now looking for a dedicated employment consultant for our private daily activity center in central Gothenburg.

Here you will meet people with intellectual disabilities who want to develop, find the right context, and get closer to the labor market through internships and work training. We work individually and believe in people's strengths, opportunities, and development.

About the role

As an employment consultant, you support participants both in the center and at internship sites. You help create the right conditions for each individual and serve as support on the path towards increased independence and work experience.

In this role, you will, among other things:

• Match participants with internship and work training placements
• Maintain contact with employers and partner organizations
• Collaborate with social services, relatives, and participants' social networks
• Coach and motivate participants in their development
• Follow up on internships and participants' goals
• Document and work systematically around participants' progress
• Be part of a dedicated team that works closely together

We are looking for someone who

Is confident, positive, and enjoys working with people. You need to be able to build trust, be flexible in everyday situations, and have a solution-oriented approach.

It is important that you:

• Have experience working with people
• Are good at building relationships
• Can work independently and take own responsibility
• Have a genuine commitment to the target group

We especially appreciate education in, for example:

• Social work
• Pedagogy
• Behavioral science

Experience with LSS (Swedish Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), daily activity centers, or labor market-oriented work is meritorious.
