Group Accounting Manager for International Group

We at Vindex are now seeking a Group Accounting Manager for one of our clients. In this role, you will be an important part of the finance function and be responsible for ensuring efficient and high-quality group reporting and consolidation in an international context with complex flows.

About the role

As Group Accounting Manager, you will work with the group's monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring a correct consolidation process, eliminations, and handling acquisitions including purchase price allocations. The organization continuously focuses on developing and streamlining financial processes. You will work in an environment with established routines and processes, collaborating closely with other finance functions within the group.

Location: Södertörn, hybrid

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for consolidation and group reporting in Aaro
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings at group level
• Ensure quality in the group's financial reporting and data from subsidiaries
• Handle group-level adjustments related to eliminations and acquisitions in accordance with IFRS
• Participate in acquisition-related issues within group accounting
• Ensure quality and accuracy of reported data from subsidiaries
• Support the organization in matters related to group accounting and reporting
• Contribute to the development and streamlining of processes, routines, and reporting flows
• Participate in the work concerning annual reports and audits at group level

Qualifications

• Academic degree in finance or equivalent
• Several years of experience in group accounting
• Good experience in consolidation work in an international environment
• Very good knowledge of Aaro
• Experience in financial closing and group reporting
• Good understanding of IFRS
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience from PE-owned companies
• Experience in acquisition-intensive businesses
• Experience from international groups with multiple legal entities
