Substitute Church Caretaker 100%

We are looking for a church caretaker for Karlsborg Parish, currently stationed in the Undenäs congregation.

The work tasks mainly consist of outdoor service, i.e., all kinds of cemetery maintenance, minor property upkeep such as painting and wallpapering, and cleaning in the churches. In winter, there is snow duty on weekends and public holidays. The team also shares indoor service time during funerals and services. Expect to work every third weekend.

We are looking for someone outgoing and perceptive who performs green area maintenance with both machines and manually. You should be able to operate ride-on mowers, loaders, and excavators. Knowledge of how to wash and service the machines is required. You should be someone with an eye for what needs to be done in the varied tasks and able to create a work schedule. During the summer period, assisting temporary or intern workers is included. We place great importance on you fitting socially into our team. If you have various driver's licenses, as well as chainsaw or grave-digging certificates, please include that in your application.

Meritorious: Training, experience working in church environments, good machine familiarity, and ability to perform simple repairs/service on machines, and being service-oriented towards customers.

The position requires a driver's license and access to your own car.
