Meal Assistant Katrineholm

Skolfood in Katrineholm is now seeking a part-time meal assistant, 5 hours/day, for Kunskapsskolan.

The position involves serving school meals to students and performing basic food preparation. Additionally, you and a colleague will handle dishwashing and cleaning of the dining area.

Who are we looking for?

Applicants should have experience in customer-facing work as well as basic cooking skills. We are looking for a service-oriented person who wants to be committed to the best interests of the students at our unit in Katrineholm. You should be attentive, and we value the ability to engage in constructive dialogue with students and teachers at the school. You will be the face of the company and are therefore expected to have good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish.

It is a merit if you have prior experience in this type of work.

Job duties

• Preparation for lunch service in the school cafeteria
• Lunch service
• Handling according to food legislation and applicable self-monitoring for buffets
• Waste sorting from the dining hall
• Cleaning of the dining area and serving space
• Dishwashing
