About the job

We are looking for a licensed speech-language pathologist for our clinic in Tyresö (center). The position is full-time and permanent with a desired start at the beginning of the fall semester. The focus is on children and assessment. In the long term, there is also the opportunity to work with selective mutism.

Röstkonsulten C.E AB has been operating in Stockholm since 1999. We currently have clinics in Haninge, Jordbro, Nynäshamn, Nacka, and Tyresö. All clinics provide general speech-language pathology services and have care agreements with SLSO.

In addition to patient work, we also hold external lectures and courses around the country for, for example, municipalities, healthcare facilities, schools, and companies.

We maintain active contact between colleagues at all clinics through, for example, development work in diagnostic groups, case discussions in groups, and joint further training during our full-day conferences.

We want the speech-language pathologist's focus to be on patient meetings and the speech therapy intervention. We therefore have an administration that handles much of the mailing and parts of the booking-related tasks for all clinics.

What you do as a speech-language pathologist

You will primarily work with assessment, treatment, and training of patients with speech and language difficulties as well as dyslexia assessment.

Your duties include, among other things:

• Conduct assessments of communication, language, and speech difficulties
• Investigate issues of dyslexia/language disorder
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individual treatment plans for patients
• Manage medical records in TakeCare
• Collaborate with other parts of Röstkonsulten and other organizations to create as seamless care as possible for patients
• Provide support and advice to patients and their relatives within the framework of the care choice.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is a licensed speech-language pathologist and who either has experience working with children and adults in primary care speech therapy, or an interest in developing in this area. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and compatibility. To fit into care choice speech therapy, we see that you are empathetic, pedagogical, and can balance quality with efficiency. You primarily want to work with patient contacts and are comfortable working in line with established routines and guidelines.

Requirements

• License as a speech-language pathologist

Meritorious

• Previous experience in the healthcare field.
• Driver's license B
• Multilingualism
