We are now looking for a dedicated and responsible personal assistant for a young man with Cerebral Palsy. He uses both a wheelchair and a walker in his daily life and needs support to live as independently and actively as possible. He still lives at home, which means you become part of a context where cooperation and good communication are important.

About the job ♥️

In the role of personal assistant, you become an important part of his daily life. You support him with daily routines, transfers, and personal care, as well as activities and social contexts. You accompany him to his daily activities and provide support throughout the day.

The work is scheduled in 24-hour shifts, meaning you work during the day, evening, and night. It is a position of approximately 50%, and you must be able to start the introduction and work immediately and be available going forward.

We are looking for someone who:

• understands what it means to work in personal assistance
• is responsible, confident, and sensitive
• has good interpersonal skills and can work independently
• has a driver's license and access to a car to get to the workplace
• enjoys a job where no two days are alike

It is meritorious if you have experience or knowledge of peg/tube feeding.
