Källstorp Parish Seeks a Confident and Curious Assistant Priest for Full-Time Position

Källstorp Parish is the southernmost parish in Sweden, and the view from our offices is the lighthouse in Smygehuk. The parish has 9 churches, all of which are in use, but the main Sunday service is held in Östra Torp Church, Smygehamn. Many people move to the parish, attracted by the long stretch of southern coast and the open landscape. Others have had their roots here for generations. We have stimulating and intense work even during the summer.

The position includes, in addition to usual priestly duties such as services, counseling, church ceremonies, and confirmation classes, collaborating with other staff to participate in and especially nurture relationships with the parish's children and young people, as well as being responsible for confirmation work.

We also wish for the assistant priest to substitute for the vicar during their vacation.

In Källstorp Parish, there are volunteer workers, and cooperation with them is important.

The Eucharist and the fellowship in and around it is our natural center.
