Ingridskolan's vision: "Peace and quiet, flexibility, and safety for a well-functioning schooling"

As a teacher at Ingridskolan, you will be responsible for a class of about 6-8 students. You will be in charge of and lead them in their schoolwork with the help of two teaching assistants working in the class. You need to be flexible and able to individualize instruction according to the students' different conditions.

Mentorship at Ingridskolan involves more extensive and continuous work than in many other institutions, with daily contact and check-ins with guardians regarding the student's development, challenges, and support needs, as well as close collaboration with the Student Health Team.

We are looking for an employee with a great interest in special education, reading and mathematics learning, and experience/training with the school's student group (NPF / autism / ADHD / dyslexia / language disorder, etc.)

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Important qualities are that you are secure in the teaching role and prepared to take responsibility for the student's development towards the goals from a holistic perspective. We look at each student's unique strengths, situation, and needs. This requires us to be extra sensitive and flexible in our working methods and approach.
