Subject Teacher in English and Social Studies - Järvsö Upper Secondary School

At Järvsö Upper Secondary School we offer programs that are strongly rooted in the local area and the opportunities that Järvsö provides. We offer the following programs:

• Adventure (Natural Resource Use Program, specialization nature tourism)
• Animal Care (Natural Resource Use Program, specialization animal care)
• Business Development (Hotel and Tourism Program)
• Technology (Technology Program, specialization information and media technology)

Your task is to work together with school management and all other staff to develop a new school. This entails building the organization, creating structures and developing the school's identity. To realize the school's identity, close collaboration with businesses and organizations is needed. Based on your subjects, you will help lead the development of Järvsö Upper Secondary School.

We are now looking for a qualified, skilled and engaged teacher in English and social studies; other subject combinations, such as Swedish, may also work. The extent of employment and form of employment may vary depending on your expertise and subject combination.

We are looking for someone with great ability to build good relationships with students, staff and parents. Naturally, you have high competence in your subjects and see development as an important part of the profession. Applicants need to be interested in building a new operation with all that entails in terms of flexibility, patience and creativity. You should also enjoy collaborating both inside and outside the school and have a holistic view of the operation.
