About the job

Sydarkivera is a municipal association located in southern Sweden with the main mission of serving as the archival authority for its member associations. Sydarkivera also provides a connecting service as a joint data protection officer for several municipalities and other organizations within the association. The service is performed by a data protection team with expertise in law, information security, IT, and archives. The data protection team maintains the data protection officer function for the organizations that are connected to the service and with which Sydarkivera has agreements.

The overall assignment for the data protection team as data protection officers is to be advisory and controlling. This primarily involves advice and support in various data protection issues, training in data protection, and monitoring data protection compliance among the connected organizations.

Your main tasks

You will be part of our data protection team, and the work includes, among other things, providing advice and support on data protection issues to our connected parties, planning and conducting network meetings, training, and other meetings, as well as monitoring data protection compliance among our connected parties.

We want you to have experience in conducting training, both digitally and in person, and that you find it a stimulating task.

It is a merit if you have knowledge of camera surveillance and the AI regulation.

As a member of the data protection team, you need to be self-sufficient and confident in your role, but also networking and responsive. We value a uniform working method with joint work meetings and digital check-ins. You are expected to be able to work independently while also having good ability to work with others and communicate in a trustworthy manner. Great emphasis will be placed on personal abilities and suitability.

You will be in contact with many different organizations, and therefore it is of utmost importance that you can express yourself well both verbally and in writing, and collaborate in a professional and service-oriented manner. Travel may occur in connection with training, network meetings, and other events.
