Maintenance & Installation Technician

Absol Rail is a signaling company that started in 2019 and is now in an expansion phase where we are looking for additional technicians to expand our signaling team. At Absol Rail, we are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the signaling system on the Tvärbanan and we have several exciting projects ahead. Tasks you will perform include installations, participation in commissioning, as well as preventive maintenance and emergency troubleshooting of the signaling system both in the field and in technical houses. Other tasks will consist of documentation, uploading checklists, and similar. Opportunities for development are very good, and the position is a permanent employment. Work is scheduled during day or night, with on-call duty from home.

We are looking for someone who has:

· Driving license B

· Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing

· Fulfilled health requirements (health examination conducted upon employment)

· Previous experience in practical work, preferably in one of the following professions

o Electrician

o Installer

o Mechanic

o Optician

o Other similar profession

It is an advantage if you have

· Experience working on tracks/railways

· Experience in writing and reading documentation

Personal qualities

To be comfortable in this role, we are looking for someone who is able to work independently but at the same time be a team player with good communication skills. The window for performing work on the tracks is limited, so you need to be proactive in your approach and not afraid to put in extra effort when needed. To deliver what we have promised to our customers, we also want you to be meticulous and service-oriented both in the field and with the documentation provided to the customer.
