Truck driver to Jutos

We are now looking for a truck driver for our sawmill in Teurajärvi.

Jutos is a stable employer with approximately 55 employees and a continuously developing business.

Our main focus is the production of sawn and planed timber products as well as by-products. In addition, we have a forestry operation to supply raw materials for our own production. We export most of our sawn timber, with the United Kingdom being the single largest market, alongside other parts of Europe, Scandinavia, North Africa, the Middle East, and Japan.

As a truck driver, you will handle timber packages to and from storage and production using a forklift, and be responsible for emptying and filling dryers. Your work also includes maintaining the machines in our machine park and other related tasks.

We are a team of five machine operators who enjoy working together. The strength of our work as machine operators lies in our collaboration and in ensuring that we maintain order and cleanliness in all the areas we are jointly responsible for.

We would like you to have previous experience driving a forklift or similar machinery. The job requires independent work and good communication with your colleagues.

We believe that wood is the single most important building block for tomorrow's society. It is 100% renewable, has a long lifespan, and does not add any new carbon dioxide. At Jutos, we utilize the entire log: about half becomes sawn timber, and the remainder becomes by-products such as wood chips, which primarily go to the pulp industry. Other by-products become bioenergy used for heating homes and for our own production.

It is often easy to say what a company does. In our case, we produce and sell timber products. Although we seldom communicate it directly, the foundation and strength of our brand is not what we do, but why and how we do it. Thanks to a high-quality product and solid teamwork, Jutos today delivers timber throughout Sweden and out into the world. That is something we should all be proud of, because together we put Teurajärvi and Tärendö on the world map.

We want to develop the business in a place where it has been done for generations. We want to produce Sweden's best timber products and strengthen the local community. While other sawmills have closed down or centralized their operations, Jutos has gone against the stream and cemented its presence in the interior of Norrbotten. At our two facilities, we take care of the region's unique raw material and let the world share in it. Now we will continue to develop our production and broaden our market, because the sustainable societies of the future are built with wood.
