Foster Home Consultant

Foster Home Consultant – Full-time or Part-time

Casa Omsorg AB is seeking social workers and individuals with at least 180 credits in social pedagogy, behavioral science, psychology, or other equivalent higher education for work as foster home consultants in our consultant-supported foster home program.

Geographic Location

We are looking for employees who reside and work in Stockholm County, Södermanland County, Uppsala County, or Gävleborg County.

Job Duties

Job duties include, among other things, recruitment, assessment, supervision, and follow-up of foster homes and emergency foster homes. The position also includes support to foster homes and collaboration with social services, schools, healthcare, and other actors concerning the child or young person.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience working with children and young people, for example in statutory work, residential care institutions, or consultant-supported foster care.

You have good knowledge of social services work and can work independently as well as build and maintain good relationships with foster homes, children, young people, and clients. You are confident, flexible, and have a professional manner in working with children, young people, and families.

Requirements

• Degree in social work or other relevant higher education of at least 180 credits in social pedagogy, behavioral science, or psychology
• At least three years of documented experience working with children and young people
• Valid driver's license (B class)
• Good ability to collaborate and document professionally

Meritorious

It is meritorious if you have completed Supervisor Training focused on work with foster homes and support families, training in the Kälvesten method, or other relevant further education in the field.
