Do you want to work with boats, engines, and technology in a varied environment? We are now looking for an engaged and knowledgeable boat mechanic to join our team.

About the position

As a boat mechanic, you will work with service, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of marine engines and technical systems. The work covers both motorboats and other marine vessels, with varying tasks throughout the year.

Work tasks

• Service and maintenance of inboard and outboard engines

• Troubleshooting and repair of engines, electrical systems, and marine installations

• Installation of accessories and technical equipment

• Winter storage preparation and boat launching/retrieval

• Polishing

• Bottom painting

• Fiberglass repairs

• Customer contact and technical advice

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience as a boat mechanic, auto mechanic, or similar technical profession

• Has good knowledge of engines, electricity, and troubleshooting

• Is meticulous, self-motivated, and solution-oriented

• Has a valid driver's license (B)

• Is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written

Meriting

• Experience with marine diesel and gasoline engines

• Knowledge of Volvo Penta, Yamaha, Mercury, or similar brands

• Experience with marine electrical systems and electronics

• Forklift license or operator's certificate for work machines

• BE driver's license
