IT Project Manager – Data Center Relocation

We are now looking for a senior IT project manager for a business-critical assignment in Stockholm.

The assignment involves leading the relocation of an existing data center to a new location. The role requires a person with strong technical understanding, experience in data center moves, and excellent ability to coordinate multiple teams, suppliers, and stakeholders in complex and business-critical environments.

The environment is business-critical since central systems are operated in the data hall, which places high demands on risk management, continuity planning, and careful coordination throughout the project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the data center move from planning to execution
• Coordinate technical teams, operations, and external suppliers
• Ensure risk management and continuity planning
• Coordinate network and firewall related activities
• Responsible for dialogue and negotiations with the data center provider
• Report to steering group and management
• Ensure progress and coordination between multiple stakeholders and contact points

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Documented experience in leading a data center relocation
• Good technical understanding of infrastructure, networks, and operational environments
• Experience working closely with technical teams and specialists
• Understanding of risks and dependencies in business-critical environments
• Experience in complex project management and stakeholder management
• Experience in supplier dialogues and negotiations
• Very good communication skills

Additional information

• Location: Stockholm
• Start: Immediately
• Extent: Initially full-time, thereafter about 2-3 days per week
