The Quality Assurance department is now looking for a Quality Project Specialist to develop our operations within Nuclear, based in Sandviken.

Your role

As a Quality Project Specialist, you have a key role in the operations with extensive contact interfaces and are the quality department's primary contact towards the customer, together with the customer project manager for PU Nuclear. In this role, you have the overall QA responsibility - from interpreting the customer's specification to the requirements to be implemented in the organization, as well as ensuring that the documentation is correct when issuing certificates. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of tasks including:

· Review and interpretation of customer specifications and international standards.

· Act as the quality department's representative in customer project groups for specific projects.

· Develop and issue customer-specific procedures in collaboration with experts from various departments.

· Participate in and/or lead meetings regarding quality issues with the customer and its representatives.

· Training of personnel at the start of projects.

· Participate in and/or lead root cause analyses or improvement work for deviations, for example.

· Act as the quality department's representative during customer visits for inspections and certificate reviews.

The quality department currently consists of 7 employees working in close collaboration with other parts of the organization and in direct contact with our customers. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work with people who have a strong quality focus and who deliver all documentation for the tubes manufactured within Nuclear. The documentation is as important a part of our delivery as the tubes we manufacture.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in engineering or equivalent, or equivalent experience working in industry. It is advantageous if you have experience in quality and audit work. As a person, you have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and enjoy creating momentum in collaboration with others.

Your personal qualities are very important to us, and we are looking for someone with a genuine interest in developing the business and working in a structured manner. You have a good ability to collaborate in a group and to work independently – always in relation to the task. You are quality-conscious with a systematic and meticulous approach and have a good ability to see the bigger picture. It is important that you have drive and can be clear, while also having patience to see and work through the small steps that over time yield results. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and can collaborate with different parts of a large organization like Alleima.
