Design Engineering Analyst – Passive Safety

We are now looking for a Design Engineering Analyst within Passive Safety for an exciting assignment in the automotive industry in Gothenburg.

In this role you will work with analyses and verification related to pedestrian passive safety and interior head injury/free-motion-head analysis. You will become part of a technical team where you contribute with both analytical skills and practical understanding of safety development.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses and verification within pedestrian passive safety
• Work with interior head injury/free-motion-head analysis (FMVSS201U)
• Conduct simulations and analyses using LS-Dyna
• Handle and work with CAD data
• Process and analyze technical data
• Participate in smaller projects and technical activities

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with LS-Dyna
• Knowledge of pedestrian passive safety (CEA and physical verification)
• Experience with interior head injury/free-motion-head analysis (FMVSS201U)
• Good CAD knowledge
• Experience in data analysis is meritorious
