Job Mission:

As a Quality Engineer in the Vacuum Automation Division in Danderyd, you ensure that our products and production processes meet Piab’s high quality standards and customer requirements. You drive continuous improvement by analyzing quality data, leading corrective and preventive actions, and collaborating closely with production, purchasing, and R&D. In this role, you play a key part in strengthening our culture of quality and supporting our long-term, sustainable growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement quality control activities and process improvements to ensure that our products and production meet internal and external quality standards and requirements.

Carry out inspections, tests, and analyses of products and processes to identify deviations, determine root causes, and propose appropriate corrective and preventive measures.

Collect and analyze data related to product quality and process performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate with other functions, including production, purchasing, and R&D, to resolve quality-related issues and implement robust, long-term solutions.

Participate in internal and external audits and manage customer complaints, including investigations, corrective actions, and follow-ups.

REQUIREMENTS:

A master’s degree in engineering, preferably in quality engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.

Experience working with quality systems and tools, such as ISO 9001/14001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or similar.

Good knowledge of quality methods and tools, such as FMEA, statistical analyses, and quality control.

Experience in carrying out internal and external audits and handling customer complaints.

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and use quality data to drive improvements.

Good knowledge of process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies.
