Our staff have knowledge and experience in, among other things, LSS/NPF, trauma, alternative communication, low-arousal approach, attachment issues, intellectual disability (ID), and drug prevention.

Job Description
Familiaris AB is now seeking a foster care consultant based in Stockholm. This is a permanent full-time position (100%).
In the role of foster care consultant, your main task is to supervise and support foster families in their mission to receive children and young people into their homes. You will also work with recruitment and assessment of new potential foster families and be involved in the basic training A Home to Grow In.
Additionally, the role may include social consulting services for municipalities, such as BBIC assessments and parental support interventions.
Your main duties include:
- Visits to foster homes.
- Responsibility for ongoing documentation.
- Contact with social services and other care agencies/authorities.
- Support interventions for placed children and young people as needed.
- Ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- On-call work.
- Digital group supervision for foster homes.
- In-person and digital supervision within the staff team.
- Active participation in systematic quality work.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience working with children and young people in foster care, either within social services or the private sector.
A degree in social work is required.
It is meritorious if you have completed supervision training focused on foster care.
We prefer that you live in Stockholm or nearby areas.
As a person, you are engaged, meticulous, humble, and solution-focused. You have good interpersonal skills and can work both independently and in a team. Since the job involves travel, it is an advantage if you enjoy driving a car.

Additional Information
- Employment rate: Full-time, permanent position with a 6-month probationary period.
- Location: Stockholm, with travel within the job.
- Working hours: Weekdays 08:00–17:00 (trust-based working hours with some flexibility).
- On-call: One week of on-call duty on rotation among staff.
- Office: Familiaris AB, Akalla.
Upon employment, we request an extract from the criminal record register in accordance with the law on register checks.

Requirements
- Degree in social work.
- At least four years of experience working with children and/or young people in foster care (within social services or private sector).
- Very good Swedish in speech and writing. Great emphasis is placed on professional written documentation.
- Driving license B.
