About Arendalagården

Arendala HVB AB provides a safe and stable environment for young people who have experience with boundary-crossing behavior including drug use, occasional criminal offenses, and/or staying in inappropriate environments. We work according to a holistic care chain focusing on individual needs, relationship building, and methodical treatment work.

We use low-arousal approaches and methods such as MI (Motivational Interviewing), Acra, B12, Connect, and trauma-informed approach (TMO). Our goal is for young people to feel safe, seen, and equipped with the tools they need to build a future.

About the role

As a treatment assistant you will:

• Work closely with young people and support them in their daily life, school/work, and free time.
• Create and maintain a safe and stable environment through relationship building and clear frameworks.
• Use evidence-based methods to support young people's development and well-being.
• Collaborate in teams with colleagues, manager, and external stakeholders such as social services and healthcare.
• Document and work according to implementation plans.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant education (e.g., social educator, social worker, or other education in care and treatment).
• Training in KSL and Repulse.
• Experience working with young people in HVB, supported housing, or other social activities.
• Knowledge and experience of low-arousal approaches, trauma, and MI is meritorious.
• Ability to build good relationships and work both independently and in a team.
• Good documentation skills and knowledge of social work.
• A valid driver's license (B category) is required.
