Föreningen Solåkrabyn på Selaön in Stallarholmen is looking for summer substitutes

Solåkrabyn is a non-profit association that runs LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) social therapeutic activities for adults in Järna, Mölnbo and on Selaön in Stallarholmen.

We are looking for someone interested in working for and with the residents in our group homes.

It is important to us that you have a genuine interest in people. That you treat our residents with respect and take their individual needs and wishes into consideration.

Since the work is varied, you must be secure in yourself, able to shift gears and adapt to different situations. You enjoy learning new things, are attentive, and show interest in the job. It is important that you take responsibility for your tasks and dare to ask questions when needed.

Qualifications: You need to have healthcare and social care education, equivalent education, or experience of working in healthcare and social care. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, due to extensive documentation and communication. Computer skills and a driver's license (B) are required.

Experience in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) as well as experience working with people with functional variations are considered meritorious.

Work duties include supporting, motivating, and stimulating residents' own abilities to carry out activities in daily life and creating conditions for a meaningful life. The duties include daily written documentation.

Working hours: Scheduled hours, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call duty.
