Nursing Teacher for Arena Education in Falun – Temporary Position

Arena Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified nursing teacher for a full-time temporary position in Falun. You will teach in our adult education program for aspiring nursing assistants and replace one of our regular teachers who is going on parental leave.

About Arena Education

Arena Education provides adult education on behalf of over 70 municipalities, the Swedish Public Employment Service, higher vocational education, and private entities. We offer training in areas such as Healthcare and Social Care, Children and Leisure, Warehousing and Logistics, Hotel and Tourism, as well as Swedish for Immigrants and theoretical courses at basic and upper secondary levels. Our goal is to create education that prepares people for professional life – both today and in the future.

About the Position

As a nursing teacher with us, you will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in accordance with applicable governing documents. You work closely with students, support their learning, and contribute to their development toward work in healthcare and social care. The majority of our students have a non-Nordic background and many have Swedish as a second language.

You collaborate with a dedicated team and also have contact with the workplace in connection with APL (workplace-based learning). Together, you create a safe and language-developing learning environment focused on professional competence and individual needs.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nursing teacher or trained nurse
• Has good pedagogical ability and a coaching, inclusive approach
• Has the ability to build good relationships with adult students
• Wants to contribute to an education that makes a difference for both the individual and society
• Enjoys working in a multicultural environment

Desirable

• Experience in adult education
• Experience teaching students with Swedish as a second language
• Good computer skills and experience with digital learning platforms

Employment Form

Full-time temporary position located in Falun. The temporary position is for the duration of our regular teacher's parental leave, starting as agreed.
